The Department of Social Science comprises of two proficient teaching staff and
caters directly for 190 students who study Social Science, Geography and History.
This Year the Department isdelighted and appreciative for the approval to
introduce History in Year 11. Our History Pioneers consist of five students.
n addition, our students enjoy an array of activities from mock elections, student
presentations, quiz competitions, recycling exercises andmost significant exposure
to high standards of formal and informal assessments.
The Department also accommodated a one week Department Programme with
activities such Mapping Quiz, National Anthem Competition, Case study displays
and an Amazing Race Competition. The theme for the week was “Know your
world, save your world, you have the Power!” This was most enjoyable for the
whole College.
In the words of our great
Gandhi ji – “You may never know what results comes of
your actions, but if you do nothing, there will be no results!”
