The departments is assigned the task of teaching the basic Agriculture and equip
students the skills that will assist them, not only at workplace but also in their
communities. The subject is divided into two main components- Theory and
Practical work. New techniques of farming are taught to address food security
issues and many challenges faced by Fiji as a result of climate change
There are certain practical’s which the students are engaged in this year
1) Crop Production – Where students are learn how to cultivate vegetable
crops
2) Flower Gardening – As part of the beautification of the school
3) Livestock Production – for year 9 and 10
